this audio clip could not be anymore wrong, nobody enjoys dorm life. nobody enjoys being under the supervision of an “ra” or having to respond to where they are late at night, or possibly even being locked out of their “home”….hu dorm policy is a joke

I’m not sure if you understand how dorm life works, especially at HU. If you’re being questioned by an RA about where you were, perhaps there is something else going on that I’m not aware of. Regardless, that’s not necessarily their business, and feel free to take it up with them that you would appreciate not getting the third degree about it.

In regards to being locked out of your home at night, that’s on you. If you fail to take your key with you when you leave your house or close the door to your car, and subsequently get locked out, do you blame the methodology of the car manufacturers as being “a joke”? It’s your own fault.

I was an RA for two years at HU, and another year at a previous school. People were locked out all the time, but never once did any of them blame the school’s dorm policy for it.
